SOLAR & WIND POWER

Time to reiterate a position that I have held, and written on, for over thirty years:  We need personal wind power on every property suited for it (i.e. rural homesteads and land).

We need every roof in the nation to have solar power collectors… to the less informed, this might sound impractical … However the informed are aware that it has been decades since the first solar roof shingles were developed. 

We  don’t need these sites/installations to generate enormous amounts of power – they just need to lessen the individual footprint & work with energy saving bulbs etc … with the goal of bringing the footprint for every individual home to zero … a surplus from a fraction of homes would provide power for business (in addition to their own roof installations).

However – as Ronald Reagan proved when he pulled the collectors from the White House – one third to fifty-seven percent of Americans are self destructive and will oppose anything that will, over the long term, provide us the means for future economic survival.

Look to the outcome of the 2010 elections – see how many pro-offshore drilling, anti-solar, anti-health care, anti-fiscal responsibility (though very vocal in their advocacy of such responsibility … again Reagan & Bush examples … fiscal responsibility means double the debt while cutting income).

The 2010 elections  -- an election of hidden truth revealed to those with the eyes to see and ears to hear.

Observation from Book

Many out in cyberspace are aware of the book I’ve been doing: it traces the Vedic Aryans who, in terms of  yDNA, are Hg  R-M17.  The methodology can be applied to any DNA line; so is universal in application, but unique in outcome.

In the course of researching Chapter XIV, I discovered a correlation to something which will be widely discussed over the next two years … the MATAN CALENDAR due to end in December 2012 and thus end the world, or, at least, the current cycle.  Turns out that it is based on a well know period – 270 days, 270 degrees, or, in this case, 270 cycles.  The date to concern ourselves does NOT fall in 2012 – rather it falls in 2015. (most likely, 18 February 2015).

The Mayan calendar was roughly 34 cycles from the start of the Hebrew Calendar (there is a slush involved in the conversion between those two calendars and our calendar)

However, if we focus on the Hebrew Calendar in the same terms as the Mayan – 270 cycles in, (1939) Hitler began his extermination of the Hebrews.

If you are in to astrological mysticism, be forewarned, nothing will happen in 2012 (a Presidential Election Year) but, if we assume there is meaning in these cycles,  something of significance will happen in the year following the mid-term elections.

GOP, BP & Offshore Drilling

Upon entering Congress in 1987, Representative Nancy Pelosi quickly became part of the solid California front against oil drilling along much of the nation’s coast.  This is a position she held for twenty-one years and reiterated on July 17, 2008.  Note that, on July 14, 2008 President George W Bush lifted the  executive ban on offshore oil drilling.  Note that Bush's actions were in direct response to John McCain's call (on June 15, 2008) for an end to the federal ban on offshore oil drilling.  Senator Barack Obama made it clear he wanted ban to remain in place.

Supposedly McCain was "offering an aggressive response to high gasoline prices" -- but drilling would do nothing to lower the prices then, or now.  The answer to supply and demand pricing is always to lower the demand -- whenever there is a cheaper alternative.  In this nation, the alternative is wind and solar.  The world will run out of oil --  by burning fossil fuels, we are polluting the air and causing global warming ... we need to address that!  Curiously, the answer to global warming and peak oil (the point we have passed where oil supply is dwindling with no realistic possibility of doing anything but increasing the speed at which it is consumed ... The GOP resembles the fellow who notices his car fuel gage is almost on empty ... and knowing he lacks the fuel to get home at the legal speed ... drives faster in the belief that he can get there before the fuel runs out.  

As This blog has repeated pointed out, the Republican party follows a doctrine of "THE MOST HARM TO THE MOST PEOPLE" -- the BP offshore debacle which now threatens the Florida Keys, and coastal ecosystems, is another example of what happens when you allow the GOP the freedom to implement its primary doctrine.  it is very fortunate for the GOP that the American people are self-destructive and wish only the worst for themselves and everyone else in the world.

You will know them by their deeds -- by their acts -- by the actions that they implement … as opposed to the words they use.  2010 is an election year, and Americans can be counted upon to inflict upon themselves the most possible harm – look for a solid GOP outcome in November (unless we suddenly develop a touch of the old biblical “wisdom, knowledge and understanding” associated with the divine spirit … as the expression goes … fat chance, or when hell freezes over.)

TV and thought

It has been established that TV negatively  affects children under the age of seven.  This is not the old “TV is bad for you” – but a scientifically, research based, examination which demonstrates the negative effect of TV on children … one which carries through their academic life.

Here I sit, at 1AM watching Netflix … the TV series “Dead Zone” … and the associations I have as an ancient soul in a WW2 spawned body which is growing more ancient.  Imagine a child constructing the basis for their future beliefs  … imagine how the superstitions of the pre-TV age grew in children of that era … go to the pre-radio age … go to the pre-literacy times when superstition reigned supreme.

Strange that in this age of “universal literacy” the same superstitions seem to prevail.  We seem to believe in all the ghosts and goblins of old.  People pray to idols and and idols they refuse to call idols … there was an age when they prayed to trees, and now they carve trees, or cast images of things carved of trees, and proclaim that these things are not idols.  But why light candles before them, and kneel, and do all that is historically done before idols?  Why if they are not idols?

The beginning of an analytical thought process …

The process which occurs when one is avoiding working on the next chapter of a book, one where his editor is falling behind because she is developing eye troubles … sigh.

Arizona Commits Economic Suicide

Arizona’s new immigration law, SB 1070 appears to be a violation of the First Amendment – but Arizona Republicans really don’t care about the America and its Constitution.

That aside, the people of Arizona are really working against their own self-interest.  If they were honestly opposed to illegal's, they would imprison anyone who employed them – one mandatory year for each employee (served sequentially) would quickly do the trick.  ! BUT NO !

Instead of  address the employer, they go after the foreigner.  How many legal residents will accept being harassed on the streets?   How many legal residents, or new citizens, will want to be stopped on the streets – or imprisoned because they don’t carry the right papers to prove their status?  How many tourists will want to go to a State that proclaims they aren’t welcomed and will be harassed if they try to act like visitors?

Why retire to a place that doesn’t want you, or your family?  Why establish a business there?  Or open a corporate branch office there?

OK, you you aren’t illegal, or an immigrant – and there are none in you immediate or extended family –so what do you care?  Well, if you even look foreign you are going to be harassed.  Even if you don’t look or sound foreign, what’s to stop these bigoted idiots from harassing you anyway?  They are liars, and idiots, so what the hell … police state one-0-one.

Don’t matter … the state will repeal the law, or go bust as everyone with even a fraction of a brain decides to avoid it.

TEA PARTY? Coffee Country

Ah “The Tea Party: Populism of the privileged”, By E.J. Dionne Jr. (Monday, April 19, 2010) … “The Tea Party is nothing new.  It represents a relatively small minority of Americans on the right end of politics, and it will not determine the outcome of the 2010 elections. … The Times reported that Tea Party supporters "tend to be Republican, white, male, married and older than 45."  And the poll suggested something that white Americans are reluctant to discuss: Part of the anger at President Obama among Tea Partiers does appear to be driven by racial concerns.”

Ya tink may-bee the media is going to realize the stupidity that is Palin and her Tea Party.  Ley’s deal with this:  “A Pew Research Center study released Sunday is thus a better guide than the Tea Party's rants to the real nature of this nation's discontent. It found that only 22 percent of Americans say they can trust the government almost always or most of the time, ‘among the lowest measures in more than half a century.’  This mistrust extends beyond government to banks, financial institutions and large corporations.”

Given that 30 percent is the deviant norm that supports the GOP -- without thought, logic or rationality to justify their support of GOP positions designed to impose the most harm to the most people.  Let’s understand that the GOP will do anything to bring harm to the average person – that average person, regardless of if they are American.

Remember:  Republicans sponsor wars that aren’t declared by Congress; aren’t against nations or defined enemies; have no purpose other than to double the National Debt.

What the GOP has promoted

The report indicates that maternal mortality ratios have increased from 6.6 deaths per 100 000 live births in 1987 to 13.3 deaths per 100 000 live births in 2006. Although some of the recorded increase is due to improved data collection, "the fact remains that maternal mortality ratios have risen significantly."

Amnesty points out that the United States spends more than any other country on health care, and more on maternal health than any other type of hospital care. "Despite this, women in the USA have a higher risk of dying of pregnancy-related complications than those in 40 other countries.

"For example, the likelihood of a woman dying in childbirth in the USA is five times greater than in Greece, four times greater than in Germany, and three times greater than in Spain."

This is one aspect of the GOP opposition to National Medical Care; it represents the result of actions which begun with the Reagan Administration and finalized by the two Bush administrations.

If you are foolhardy enough to debate the point, remember that it is the lives of your children and grandchildren … and great grandchildren … which are at stake.

YES!  We now have a new medical program --- dubbed OBAMACARE --- which the GOP seeks to repeal, or block implementation of.   Because of the GOP opposition to single payer care, the United States diverts funds into a healthcare system which is structured to deny care to those who pay them.  It is a system which pays people to say NO!

They want you to die – so long as the premiums are paid – and your employer will continue to pay … for coverage on you healthy replacement.

The most harm to the most people … the figures are coming in … albeit they being concealed in America and so we need to look to Europe to get the facts and truth.

This is an election year … we can expect GOP lies and dishonesty will gain victories … and more Americas will die at birth, or in their senior years.  These will be deaths which are unnecessary and, by the fact that they are premeditated, preplanned, and desired by the GOP … they are murders for which nobody will be held accountable.

In fact, if my assessment of the average intelligence of 30% of the population is accurate – and if they can convince half of those who are fence sitters – the GOP will garner rewards in the form of more power to obstruct the greater good … obstruct the health & welfare of Americans.  They will have the power to create another doubling of the National Debt – after the 2012 elections.

You’ve been warned.

Maternal Deaths Decline Sharply Across the Globe

For the first time in decades, researchers are reporting a significant drop worldwide in the number of women dying each year from pregnancy and childbirth, to about 342,900 in 2008 from 526,300 in 1980.

The findings, published in the medical journal The Lancet, challenge the prevailing view of maternal mortality as an intractable problem that has defied every effort to solve it.

Gee ... in the rest of the world, the right to life improves. In the Evangelical-GOP Nation ... which touts and publicizes its beliefs in the right to life and fiscal responsibility ... GOP presidents double the national debt with their borrow and spend policies ... and fight healthcare which ... in the rest of the world ... makes it safer for women and children to survive childbirth ... THE MOST HARM TO THE MOST PEOPLE - the GOP & Evangelical way of life.
