Pelosi seeks to destroy democracy

Liberal George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley expressed the opinion that, while “Democrats are seeking to remove Trump on the basis of his remarks to supporters before the rioting at the Capitol. ...his address does not meet the definition for incitement under the criminal code.  It would be viewed as protected speech by the Supreme Court.”

As a result, Pelosi, Schumer, and the rest of those seeking the downfall or destruction of America are, in Turley's words, “now seeking an impeachment for remarks covered by the First Amendment.”  Turkey went on to point to the hypocrisy within his own party and pointed the fact that some of his fellow“Democrats are pushing this dangerously vague standard while objecting to their remarks given new meaning from critics.”  In effect, they are guilty of the very accusations they throw at Trump.
Turkey pointed out that while “The damage caused by the rioters this week was enormous, however, it will pale in comparison to the damage from a new precedent of a snap impeachment for speech protected under the First Amendment. ... In a process of deliberative judgment, the reference to a snap impeachment is a contradiction. In this new system, guilt is not doubted and innocence is not deliberated.”
Effectively, Turkey has declare the new system is based on the idea of being guilty as charged without any right to a fair trial or ability to establish innocence.  Under such conditions, as Senate leader, Schumer will rush through the first conviction in history, and individuals like Nader and Schiff will declare "overwhelming evidence" that they will never need to cite or explain in a coherent and lawful manner.
As noted in need reports, Turley cited specific examples of the “vague standard” the Democratic leadership has now established as their means of judgment: “Conservatives have pointed to Maxine Waters asking her supporters to confront Republicans in restaurants, while Ayanna Pressley insisted amidst the violent marches last year that there needs to be unrest in the streets’ and Kamala Harris said ‘protesters should not let up’ even as some of those marches turned violent.”
The rule of law has ended, Biden is above the law, and the era of American fascism has been offered for acceptance by the masses willing to see The Emperor's New Clothes.
