the killing of Qassem Soleimani, the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, has created an interesting issue: is the PRESIDENT the COMMANDER IN CHIEF who decides on the ground actions once Congress has authorized and funded the troops being there?
It's a critical question.
If Iran didn't want it's people killed, it would remove them from harms way in Iraq. Iran decided it's general could be killed -- when they stationed him there.
But our issue is CONGRESS!
So let's make it easy, a simple vote,
Vote YES if want American Troops out of Iraq and brought home.
Vote NO if you want them to stay in iraq but get Congressional approval for every strategic action.
Vote PRESENT if the PRESIDENT decides and orders the troops.
Simple, easy, permanent -- why not give Iraq to Iran?
We can create the New Persian Empire.
it seems to be what Americans want, and a simple vote in the HOUSE can achieve it -- IT DOESN'T EVEN NEED TO GO TO THE SENATE.
