the pattern continues: House Republican leadership met heavy resistance from GOP members after presenting a plan on Monday that would extend the debt limit for one year.

Seems too members are anti-budget.
So we can look forward to more problems. in this case, no budget if cuts to military pensions are lifted ... so risk your life for the nation and get screwed by GOP.

We need serious answers to to Illegal Immigration

This is why we need immigration reform.  But it also tells us that Congress can rant about illegals and devote a fortune to building fences, but refuses to put money whee it will really achieve the immigration goal -- ensuring the laws are upheld.

An immigration judge said in testimony before Congress about the job,  it is “like doing death-penalty cases in a traffic-court setting.”  He was expected to hear 1,500 cases per year while federal judges decided 440. It was sharing one law clerk with other immigration judges while each federal judge had four clerks of his own. It was being scheduled to sit on the bench for 36 hours a week and listen to asylum cases that detailed people’s escapes from gangs, rapes, beheadings, human trafficking and torture; and then having to objectively ask those people for the documents, for the scars, for the proof; and then making a judgment about the character of those people, first through a video feed and then through an interpreter; and then judging the merits of their cases in the shifting landscape of immigration law; and finally taking a deep breath, synthesizing so much information, and rendering a lawful, smart, artful, confident decision on the spot, because the schedule allowed little time for reflection or written decisions before the next case began.  

Illegal Immigrates understand reality.  Congress does not consider them enough of an issue to properly fund and staff the Immigrant Court System.  So the next time some idiot rants against immigration, remind them that the Republican controlled House appropriates the funding and they have decided it is a non-issue.

Look at our timeline and these words from the referenced article: "in 1997, a Danish Egyptologist, Dr Kim Ryholt, deduced from a highly damaged ancient Egyptian papyrus, that a lost dynasty should theoretically have existed at Abydos between 1650 BC and 1600 BC - part of an era of political disunity known in Ancient Egyptian history as the Second Intermediate Period."







The timeline is part of the book GENESIS OF GENESIS  (Kindle & Print editions).
Note that the divided period in Egypt matches the period of Jacob & Joseph.  This is NOT coincidence, it is history.  The restored dynastic period is believed to have begun around the time the Biblical Joseph was born.  As an outsider, he fits the history of the restoration.  As the article tells us:
"n around 1550 BC, after at least 50 years of war, the southern kingdom defeated the foreign-originating dynasty in the north and succeeded in re-uniting Egypt. ‘President Ted Cruz’ is published

Well, it is official.  My new book, “PRESIDENT Ted Cruz” has been launched – the eBook came out at midnight and the print edition became available this afternoon, and should be through the various distribution networks by Monday.

 

The basis for a good con is to tell the mark exactly what is going to befall them, and then credit someone else with being the cause and allow the mark to do the work.
Having done that, you then tell them you are going to deliver exactly what they want, or desire to have.  If you do it correctly, they will not examine what you are actually doing.  Of course this is not new, following Hebrew tradition, rules are given at least twice, and so it is with Matthew 7 & 12.  We know people, not by their words, but by their deeds; in the same way that we know a tree by its fruit.  If the tree is good, then the fruit will be also; you don’t get good fruit from thorn-bushes, or figs from thistles?
In the Pirates movie, Johnny Depp had a great line, one which sums up the basis of any good political conspiracy, or Con; it is the essence of the idea popularized in the 1939 WC Fields movie, “You Can't Cheat an Honest Man.”  Every good prosecutor knows that you can sway a jury by telling them the truth and allow them to distort it.  It is the rule which governs a ‘lawyer’s lie’: “You lied to me, you told me the truth.”
Both the 2014, and 2016, elections will be determined by those who accept bad fruit, and denounce demonstrative truth to be a lie.
To be President, if you wish to wage war, need to wage wars which can be won.
