June 8, 2011 U.S. Is Falling Behind in the Business of ‘Green’ By ELISABETH ROSENTHAL
“If we don’t invest in ways to efficiently produce sustainable energy, then I worry that once we stop importing from the Middle East, we’ll simply find ourselves importing from China.” said Emily Carter, a professor of energy and the environment at Princeton University.
Remember when Ronald Reagan tore the solar collectors off the Carter Whitehouse? We were on the way to an economy free of dependence of Arab energy and Ronald Reagan and the Republicans said – NO FRIGGIN’ WAY!
“The Most Harm to the Most People”
It takes time to hurt a nation. It takes time to destroy a major economy. Ronny was among those who set the forces in motion which would justify our invading under “Desert Storm”; his budget trained Bin Laden; the Bush/Reagan actions begat the Bush jr. policies which threaten to bring about the coming bankruptcy of America.
What shall we do? The answer is obvious: oppose the creation of wind farms; oppose solar; oppose tidal power; oppose, oppose, oppose. To ensure this opposition will occur, we need to elect all the Republicans we can – ideally in the mold of Ronald Reagan.
While we are at it, why not cease funding education, and force people to buy health insurance from firms dedicated to finding justifications for the denial of coverage?
After all, what will make a better America – what other than a sickly and ignorant population?
Remember, for the past sixty odd years, America has made a career of favoring:
“The Most Harm to the Most People”
Why not finish the job?
