It’s amazing. As you age your perspective either becomes entrenched, or changes dramatically.
If entrenched, you are either extremely happy and content with your life; but if it changes, you either see that which you did wrong (or could have done better) and regret the bad choices, or come to realize they represent an alternative life – but not really one which would have made you more happy ... Though it might have made your life easier.
