Rush speak: “I think it is absolutely absurd that during these very serious political times, we are discussing personal sexual recreational activities before members of Congress. I personally do not agree that American citizens should pay for these social activities.”
If we assume that the issue of Birth Control constitutes a basic form of “personal sexual recreational activity” exempt from government subsidy, than we should ensure that no personal recreational activities are subsidized. Business travel (aside from direct transportation expenses), business at country clubs, restaurants or business activity not conducted at a primary place of business should no longer be tax deductible -- we all know that these are recreation or personal entertainment expenses. WOOPS Rush baby just opened an obvious can of worms that his backers live on.
But Rush is an idiot and hypocrite – making money off bigger idiots.
No matter … we deserve the people we get. And it would appear we deserve, pill-popping Rush-baby types. He is, after all, typical of GOP leadership – even though he is only their attack puppy.
