Financial Negotiations–Social Security

Social Security retirement and disability payments were exempted from the budget cuts under the midnight brinksmanship of the Fiscal Cliff.   However, like Medicare, Social Security could soon be at the center of negotiations.  That means all senior citizens can expect to come under Republican Attack… remember, their policy structure is based on “THE MOST HARM TO THE MOST PEOPLE.”

If they can reduce benefits to seniors, they can remove spending from the economy.  This will impact business at the most basic level… grandma and grandpa spending locally on all the usual basic services, plus the goodies for the grandkids.

The next effect would be to STOP normal spending.  Now, we do this in a period of inflation, and basic services – winter fuel – increase in all prices simultaneously with Republicans cutting disposable cash available to compensate for that rise.

Sit back, relax, and watch the show.  When the dust settles from the New Year’s Fiscal Cliff Game, we will see the Tea Party aggressively attack the basic cash flow elements.  There is an element in America that wants to see this nation fail – they have made it a point to double the national debt whenever they have the authority.

Remember, within a decade we should be at war with Islamic Terrorists … and we will be sure it is the war I’m speaking about, because ROME will be destroyed.
