Once more the GOP promotes its guiding policy:
“The Most Harm to the Most People”
The budget crisis is simply an extension of Regan Bush policies that, repeatedly, I have pointed out. Simply put: The Republicans do not want to pay their debts! They will let the poor starve, and go hungry; they will leave the sick to become sicker – and they will inflict hardship upon those who have spent their lives in service to the nation and national economy…. those who deserve, who repeatedly earned, the right to a secure retirement.
To quote the President:
“This is the United States of America, and we don’t manage our affairs in three-month increments; we don’t risk U.S. default on our obligations because we can’t put politics aside.”
Of course, default is what the GOP has been working toward ever since … with their unanimous support … Reagan first doubled the National Debt – and it is something they cheered, and voted for, when Bush redoubled it. The bankruptcy … default … of the US is one of their Most Harm objectives.
Do YOU see any evidence – much less clear and indisputable evidence – to the contrary?
“The Most Harm to the Most People”
The key plank of the GOP 2012 Platform.
